Comparison IRIS® – Mass spec

A validation study has been performed by Lab MVZ Dr Eberhard & Partner in Dortmund, where 158 patients were tested for Helicobacter pylori infection and the samples were analyzed both with IRIS® and mass spec. The results clearly show that there is an excellent correlation between the two instruments, i.e. mass spec can easily be replaced by IRIS®. In view of the recent Maastricht IV “test and treat” guidelines Kibion can now offer a reliable system that is convenient for both patients, health care providers and laboratories and therefore allows an easy implementation of these guidelines.
